Titles are available for purchase in the Audible app for Android, on the Audible site, and through Amazon. Anyone with an Amazon account can use a credit card or an Audible coupon to buy titles à la carte. However, only members can use credits they get with a plan to buy titles.

How do I buy titles in the Audible app?

1. Pick a title you want to buy and go to its detail page.
2. Choose a purchase option:​​​​​​
   • Buy with 1 credit
   • Buy for $X.XX
3. Select Confirm.

Note: Purchases cannot be made from a Kids Profile in the app. The adult account holder must share content from their own device or profile, or from Audible.com. 

How do I buy titles on the Audible desktop site?

There are four ways to purchase a title on the desktop site. After making your purchase, your title will be sent to your Library and you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation.

From search results

1. Search for the title you want.
2. Select Add to Wish List next to the title you want.

From the title’s detail page

Choose a purchase option:

• Buy with 1 credit
• Buy for $X.XX
• Add to cart

Note: You’ll be asked to confirm your purchase immediately if you choose a Buy option. If you add the title to your cart, you’ll need to complete checkout from your cart.

From your cart

1. Choose whether to apply 1 credit or pay cash.
2. Select Proceed to checkout.
3. Select Confirm purchase.

How do I buy titles on the Audible mobile site?

There’s only one way to purchase a title on the Audible site. After making your purchase, your title will be sent to your Library and you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation.

1. Go to the title’s detail page.
2. Choose a purchase option:
   • Buy with 1 credit
   • Buy for $X.XX

Note: You’ll be asked to confirm your purchase immediately if you choose a Buy option. Mobile web doesn’t currently support cart checkout.

How do I buy titles with Alexa?

Members with credits can purchase titles on any Alexa device.

1. Make sure voice purchasing is on in the Alexa app.
2. Say "Alexa, buy [Name of Book]".
3. The title will be available for you to play.

How do I buy titles on Amazon?

Both members and non-members can purchase Audible titles on Amazon.

Purchase an Audible title

1. Go to the title’s detail page.
2. Choose a purchase option:
   • If you're not an Audible member, select Try Audible Free or Buy with 1-Click.
   • If you're currently an Audible member, select Buy with 1 Credit or Buy with 1-Click.

Notes:

• If you take a free trial, your payment method will be charged after the 30-day trial ends unless you cancel. If you buy a title with 1-Click, you’ll be charged full price.
• Eligible customers can use their Amazon Gift Card balance to purchase Audible titles on Amazon.com and through the Amazon Shopping app on Android devices.

Purchase a narration with a Kindle E-book

With Whispersync for Voice, you have the option of purchasing an Audible title narration with select Kindle E-books.

1. Go to the Kindle books with Audible titles page .
2. Go to the title’s detail page.
3. Select the Kindle option.
4. Select Add Audible narration.
5. Select Buy now with 1-Click,

Note: Since this is a 1-Click purchase on Amazon, you can only purchase the eBook and title together with your credit card.

Can I buy a title that’s being shared in my Amazon Family?

To prevent duplicate purchases in your Amazon Family, we don’t allow purchases of shared titles. If you’d like to buy a shared title, the other person in your Amazon Family must stop sharing it with you.

Can I keep titles marked as “Buy for $0.00”?

Yes. When you select Buy for $0.00, the title is yours to keep forever. titles marked as “Add to Library” are included in the Plus Catalog, but you don’t own them. If you cancel your membership, you lose access to Plus Catalog titles.

Note: Free titles purchased as part of special offers may only be available for a limited period of time. As a result, a title that you previously added to your Library may not be available anymore.
