What do I need to know before connecting?

• Listening progress and Followed shows don't sync between the Audible app and Apple Podcasts. They work as separate apps.
• Audiobooks aren't available to listen to in Apple Podcasts — podcasts only.
• All Audible podcasts on Apple Podcasts are also available in the Audible app and on the Audible website.
• No podcast listening data is shared between Apple Podcasts and Audible — only your membership status.

How do I connect an Audible membership started through the App Store?

Your membership connects automatically — no extra steps needed. When you open Apple Podcasts and sign in, Apple detects your Audible subscription and grants access right away. You'll see a Your subscription was connected confirmation and a Subscriber Edition banner on Audible podcast pages.

How do I connect an Audible membership started on the Audible website or via Google Play?

If you signed up to your Audible membership on our website or through Google Play, you can connect in a few simple steps:

1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iOS device and sign in.
2. Go to any Audible show page or Channel page, or search for "Audible", then select the Audible Channel.
3. Select the Already a subscriber? link.
4. Sign in with your Amazon credentials.
5. Select Allow on the consent page.
6. The confirmation message Your subscription was connected appears. You'll now see a Subscriber Edition banner on Audible podcast pages.

How do I sign up for an Audible membership from Apple Podcasts?

You can sign up for an Audible Standard membership directly from Apple Podcasts:

1. Open the Apple Podcasts app on your iOS device and sign in.
2. Select Listen ad-free with an Audible membership.
3. Download and open the Audible app from the App Store (if you don't already have it).
4. Sign in to your Amazon account, or create one.
5. Sign up for the Audible Standard plan.
6. Complete your purchase through the App Store payment screen.
7. Select Listen in Apple Podcasts to return and connect.
8. The confirmation message Your subscription was connected appears once connected.

Note: If you already have the Audible app installed and are signed in, selecting Listen ad-free with an Audible membership will open the Audible app directly with the membership offer.

What happens if I cancel my Audible membership?

If you cancel your Audible membership, you'll automatically lose access to member podcast benefits in Apple Podcasts. This includes ad-free listening, early access, and member-only content. The Subscriber Edition banner will also no longer appear on podcast pages.

Note that if your Audible membership is billed via the App Store, you can only manage your plan through your device Settings or the App Store. To confirm how your membership is billed, check the Subscriptions section in your device Settings.
