You can leave your phone at home and download or stream titles to the Audible app on your Apple Watch.

• Your Apple Watch must be connected to data to stream titles from your Library.
• You must have at least 1 title in your Library.

How do I listen to Audible on my Apple Watch?

1. Pair your Bluetooth headphones to your Apple Watch.
2. Open the Audible app on your iPhone and connect to your account.
3. Say “Siri, open the Audible app” or press the watch’s knob and select the Audible app.
4. Select Manage Library.
5. Sort by Title to see all titles in your library.
6. Go back to the Library.
7. Select the title you want to listen to. 

Note: When connected to data, the title will begin streaming and download in the background.

If your title is not downloading when selecting it, you need to enable the downloads:

1. Tap the title you want to download.
2. In the player, select the 3-dot More menu.
3. Tap Data & storage.
4. Tap Stream & download to enable the downloads.

How do I remove audiobooks from my Apple Watch?

1. Say “Siri, open the Audible app” or press the watch’s knob and select the Audible app.
2. Tap Manage Library.
3. Tap Remove downloads.
4. Select the Delete icon next to the audiobook.
5. Tap Done.

The audiobook will be removed from your Apple Watch but remain in your Audible Library.

What should I do if my library is empty on my Apple Watch?

If your Library appears empty on your Apple Watch, try refreshing your authentication status or reinstalling the app.

Refresh Authentication Status

This action logs you out and automatically logs you back in when your phone is nearby. Your downloaded titles and settings won't be affected.

1. Ensure your Apple Watch is in close proximity to your iPhone.
2. Open the Audible app on your Apple Watch.
3. Select a title to open the player.
4. Select the 3-dot More menu, then select About.
5. Choose Logout.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions on your watch.
7. The watch will communicate with your iPhone to receive the login information.
8. Once logged back in, your library should appear on your Apple Watch.

Reinstall the Application

If refreshing authentication doesn't work, try reinstalling the app. This will remove all downloaded titles.

1. On your iPhone:
1. Open the Watch app.
2. Toggle Show App on Apple Watch to off.
3. Verify the app is removed from your watch.
2. To reinstall the app:
1. Toggle Show App on Apple Watch to on.
2. Wait for installation to complete.

Note: The reinstallation process usually takes about five minutes, depending on your network conditions. If issues persist, try restarting both your Apple Watch and iPhone, then repeat the steps above.
