You can give Audible as a gift by choosing between 1-, 3-, 6-, and 12-month plans for friends, coworkers, employees, or family members. Your recipient will receive all membership benefits while on their gift membership and will keep any titles they purchase with an Audible credit or a credit card, even after the gift membership ends.

We accept the following payment methods Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. If you receive a credit card error, please ensure that the default payment on file with your account is current and reattempt your purchase.

Note:

• Even after the gift membership ends, the recipient can still buy books a la cart with their credit card.
• Although we don't offer physical Audible gift cards, you can personalise your digital gift membership with a custom message for your recipient.

How do I purchase a gift membership from Audible?

You can buy an Audible subscription as a gift by:

1. Go to the Gift centre.
2. Select which gift membership you would like to give and choose Select gift.
3. Enter information about the gift on the next page. After you’re done, select Continue.
4. Pick a card from the next page to go with your gift, then select Continue.
5. Select Buy Now for £X.XX to complete your purchase.

   
What happens after the membership ends?

Once a gift membership ends, the recipient will not be charged for an Audible membership plan. They may enroll in a plan at any time from their Account Details page.

   
Do gift membership credits expire?

Credits provided as part of a gift membership expire 6 months after each is issued. 

   
How many gift purchases can I purchase?

No more than £1,000.00 in Audible gift memberships can be purchased in a single transaction. However, there is no overall limit to the amount of gifts you can purchase.

For example, you can purchase £1,000.00 in Audible gift memberships through one transaction. After that transaction is complete, you can purchase more gift memberships through another transaction.
