Titles are available for purchase in the Audible app for Android, on the Audible site, and through Amazon. Anyone with an Amazon account can use a credit card or an Audible coupon to buy titles à la carte. However, only members can use credits they get with a plan to buy titles.

How do I buy audiobooks on the Audible desktop site?

There are four ways to purchase a title on the desktop site. After making your purchase, your audiobook will be sent to your Library and you’ll receive an email confirmation.

From search results

1. Search for the title you want.
2. Select Add to Cart next to the title you want.
3. Select the Cart icon or select In Cart.
4. Select Go to checkout to complete your purchase.

From the title’s detail page

Choose a purchase option:

• Buy Now with 1 credit
• Buy Now for £0.00
• Add to cart

Note: You’ll be asked to confirm your purchase immediately if you choose a Buy option. If you add the title to your cart, you’ll need to complete checkout from your cart.

From your cart

1. Choose whether to apply 1 credit or pay cash.
2. Select Go to checkout.
3. Select Complete purchase.

  
How do I buy audiobooks in the Audible app?

1. Pick a title you want to buy and go to its detail page.
2. Select Buy with 1 credit or Buy Now for £0.00.

How do I buy audiobooks on the Audible mobile site?

There’s only one way to purchase a title on the Audible site. After making your purchase, your audiobook will be sent to your Library and you’ll receive an email confirmation.

1. Go to the title’s detail page.
2. Choose a purchase option:

• Buy with 1 credit
• Buy for £0.00

Note: You’ll be asked to confirm your purchase immediately if you choose a Buy option. Mobile web doesn’t currently support cart checkout.

  
How do I buy audiobooks with Alexa?

Members with credits can purchase audiobooks on any Alexa device.

1. Make sure voice purchasing is on in the Alexa app.
2. Say "Alexa, buy [Name of Book]".
3. The title will be available for you to play.

   
How do I buy audiobooks on Amazon?

Both members and non-members can purchase Audible audiobooks on Amazon.

Note: The Amazon app doesn’t currently support audiobook purchases.

Purchase an Audible audiobook

1. Go to the title’s detail page.
2. Choose a purchase option.
3. Confirm your purchase.

Notes:

• If you take a free trial, your payment method will be charged after the 30-day trial ends unless you cancel. If you buy a title with Buy Now, you’ll be charged full price.
• If you have no remaining credits with your Audible membership, the option to purchase with a credit will be unavailable. You may instead purchase the title using your member discount.

Purchase a narration with a Kindle E-book

With Whispersync for Voice, you have the option of purchasing an Audible audiobook narration with select Kindle E-books.

1. Go to the Kindle books with Audible audiobooks page.
2. Go to the title’s detail page.
3. Select the Kindle option.
4. Select Add Audible narration.
5. Select Buy now with 1-Click,

Note: Since this is a 1-Click purchase on Amazon, you can only purchase the eBook and audiobook together with your credit card.
    

Can I keep titles marked as “Buy Now for £0.00”?

Yes. When you select Buy Now for £0.00, the title is yours to keep forever. Titles marked as “Add to Library” are included in the Plus Catalog, but you don’t own them. If you cancel your membership, you lose access to Plus Catalog titles.
