There are a few troubleshooting methods to try if the Audible app is consistently crashing (closing immediately after opening) or is slowly loading information.

Force quit the app

1. Press the home button twice or swipe up from the bottom of your screen.
2. Close the Audible app.
3. Reopen the Audible app.
4. If the issue continues, you may need to uninstall and reinstall your Audible app.

Update the app

Make sure that you are using the most current version of the app. Please see the following article for instructions: App needs an update

Clear app data and cache on Android

• Go to the settings on your Android device.
• Select Apps.
• Find Audible in the list of all apps.
• Select Storage or Storage & cache.
• Select Clear Cache.
• Select Clear Storage and confirm.

Re-install the app

1. Delete the app from your device.
2. Open your app store.
3. Find the Audible app.
4. Download the app.

Note: Uninstalling the app will remove any downloaded titles and those marked as "Finished." You may re-download these titles at any time and remark as "Finished."

Temporary Fixes

 If none of the above solves the crashing problem, you can try the following to minimize disruptions:

• Keeping the Audible app in the foreground when listening
• Not switching between apps frequently
• Closing all other apps when using Audible
